Children of the Paradise

Let me introduce you to one of Indonesia's paradise! Imagine the blue waters, the dolphins chasing your boat, the rich rainforest and the friendly villagers of Kelumbayan, South Lampung in the notorious Sumatra Island. It truly is a paradise lost! The virgin beaches and the unexplored woods. That little red spot on my map, is your perfect image of a paradise!

I wont show you the picture of the beaches, or the woods. I'll let you imagine it!

But you'll never imagine how the people in that paradise lived apart from the modern technologies. No electricity, no phones, no roads. This place is so quiet! It takes hours of drive to reach nearest city, in the roadless condition. It's simply isolated if i may say.

They've never seen cars or anything like cameras. So they became surprisingly curious with our things. Let me introduce you to the curious kids in front of my lenses :)

Here they are!

It was so nice to see child this happy in these 'hectic' days :)

The kids in this village was really into cameras.
There was like a bunch of cameras there, the 'big' ones, that's how they called it.
Those kids were just too curious that they kept marching around us!
Look at how they peek at us!

All the girls in the village, with all their pride and prejudice :)
They're showing a slightly different level of maturity from the boys.

  4. @Vitaliy 550D is amazing, it's not as expensive as the others, but the picture quality and technology is enough. It's perfect. I dropped my camera to the ocean though, I get a new one. Thank you :)
